| Animations |
The set of predefined actions that the players can do while playing a game like, for example, run, kick, jump etc. |

The file containing the animations. It is archived in motion.big |
| Bh File |
A Big Header file is a file associated with a zdata_XX.big and contains some information about the files archived in order to speed up the access to the archive. It can be regenerated from scratch starting from the corresponding zdataXX.big file. |
| Big File |
An archive of files, similar to a zip file but with a different compression algorithm. |
| Chant |
A sound used to recreate the stadium environment like supporters chorus, speakers announcements and national anthems. |
| CMP |
CMP is the acronym of Creation Master Patch. It is a format for creating patches that allows to import a the patch on your current FIFA without loosing your current editing (as it happens instead if you install a patch distributed as a .EXE) |
| CMS |
CMS is an acronym of Creation Master Standard and it is a standard to guarantee patch compatibility for FIFA. Patches compliant with CMS can be loaded on the same FIFA game without conflicting. |
| Collection |
A collection of movements or of other collections that groups together similar actions. The game will choose a specific movement according to real time conditions like, for example, the height of the ball, the direction of the kick, the foot used and so on. |
| Cynematics |
A set of predefined 3D scenes shown by the game when an event happens like: goal celebrations, anthem execution, substitutions and so on. |
| Database Expansion |
The original main database fifa.db has a limited capacity for the different objects, for example 200 boots, 245 adboards and so on. The database expansion allows to have a higer number of objects. Refere to the help of each tool to know how many objects are available after the expansion. |
| Equivalence List |
Each movement may be linked in one (and only one) list of equivalent movements. FIFA will select the movement to execute from a list of equivalent movements with a random logic. |
| fifa.db |
The main database file of FIFA. It contains all the information about players, teams, leagues, stadiums, etc. |
| fifa.fat |
This is the File Allocation Table of all the zdata files. It contains a reference for finding any of the files archived in a zdata_XX.big. |
| Fsh File |
Graphic files used by FIFA. A fsh file may include several images and each image may have different mipmaps. The images are sometime compressed in order to reduce the file size. |
| Hash |
To Hash a file means to compute for it a unique signature that will distinguish it from all the other files in the game. Hashing is used by FSH files and must be computed in order to avoid conflicts in game. |
